Lab Work Guidelines

Lab Work Guidelines: We discussed some important issues. When lab time is provided in class it is important that work gets done. Some conversation is acceptable, but is not the focus of lab time. Each student is responsible for their own work, don't ask others for details on assignments; look on your assignment sheet and make your own decisions (even your own mistakes!).

Lab Music: Each student may listen to a personal music device or use earphones on the computer at a volume which allows you to hear announcements made by the instructor. I will play a few different types of music on the teacher computer. (Alternating days, something like classic rock on day 1, modern popular stuff on day 2 using some Pandora stations.) Also, students may bring in music CDs to be played on the main classroom computer, suggest some Pandora adjustments or even post playlists on their blogs for use some of the time. Students may not play music at each station at a volume that others can hear.
